You can request a pickup for a specific day, but not a specific time. All pickups are scheduled to occur between 12 pm and 4 pm local time, although pickups may occur outside that window, based on the volume of shipments the driver is managing that day. 

UPS does not call or otherwise notify prior to a pickup, but a driver will typically knock on your front door/entrance when they arrive for the pickup. You can either leave your package outside ahead of the pickup, or if leaving your package outside is not a safe option for you, we recommend you leave a note for the driver requesting that they knock on your door or ring your doorbell upon arrival so that you can give them the package being picked up.
