Historically all Bike Box Alan bike cases have been too large to ship with Bikeflights because we ship bikes through our carrier’s small parcel network. That’s why a Bike Box Alan initially ships to you using the freight shipping network after you purchase one.

However, we are currently running a trial with USA Triathlon and our carrier to test a way to ship the following Bike Box Alan bike cases: the Premium Bike Box, the Premium Bike Box Plus and the Triathlon Aero Easyfit. 

Here’s how to book a domestic shipment of a bike packed in a Bike Box Alan bike case: Select the “Bike Box Alan Bike Case” from the dropdown box/case menu. This will populate length x width x height dimensions of 51 x 20 x 37 inches (130 x 51 x 94 cm). As you book, you will receive a warning about your package dimensions nearing the maximum limit; however, you must proceed with booking using these dimensions to avoid delays and extra charges like a billing adjustment, correction fee and any applicable penalty.

If the results of this trial are not successful, we will look into other solutions for shipping all Bike Box Alan bike cases with Bikeflights. We also hope to look into solutions for shipping the Invictus Racing WheelChair Bikebox, which we cannot currently ship domestically or internationally.

International shipping of ALL Bike Box Alan cases with Bikeflights is still strictly prohibited due to their oversized dimensions.
