A “complete bicycle” consists of a frame and components, whether the bike is shipped assembled or disassembled. Even if one or two of the parts are missing, it will be considered a “complete bicycle.” “Bicycle parts” refers to the shipping of individual bike parts. Proper categorization of your shipment contents is essential to facilitate customs clearance when shipping internationally. Duties, taxes and fees are calculated based on certain codes. Clearance fees may differ for the shipping of complete bicycles vs. bicycle parts. While creating your labels, our Support Team will collect more detailed information about the contents of your shipment. If you select the incorrect category when placing an order, we will calculate the correct clearance fees for your shipment and either credit your account or take payment accordingly before issuing your labels.
