Before you book
First, select a bike shop, then contact them to confirm they can serve as a pickup location for your shipment or receive and hold your shipment. You should coordinate directly with the shop about purchasing any additional services, such as assembly, tune-up and packing.
Use our Bike Shop Finder to help find a participating shop.
Booking your shipment
When booking, enter the bike shop’s name and address in the Ship To or Ship From field. Start typing the name of the bike shop and the city, then select the correct shop from the suggestions offered.
When prompted for more details, make sure the bike shop’s name is entered in the Company Name field. Carriers require company names for delivery to a commercial address. Shipments sent without a valid company name may receive an address correction charge and may experience a delivery delay.
Entering recipient information
When shipping to a bike shop
In the First Name field, enter: Hold for [RECIPIENT FIRST NAME]
In the Last Name field, enter: [RECIPIENT LAST NAME]
Example: If the package is ultimately going to Jane Smith, enter:
First Name: Hold for Jane
Last Name: Smith
When shipping from a bike shop
Enter the recipient’s First Name and Last Name
Example: If the package is coming from Jane Smith, enter:
First Name: Jane
Last Name: Smith
Contact information
Enter your phone number, not the bike shop’s. This makes it easier for bike shop staff to contact you if needed before your bike ships or after it arrives.
After you book
After you’ve booked a shipment from a bike shop, remember to provide the label to the bike shop, and let them know what day pickup will occur. See also: How do I share my labels?
