Before you book

First, select a hotel and contact them to confirm they can serve as a pickup location for your shipment or receive and hold your shipment. Hotels may charge additional fees receiving or holding packages, so confirm in advance whether any hotel fees will apply. 

You may also want to consider shipping to or from a bike shop. Use our Bike Shop Finder to find nearby bike shops, especially if you’d like help with assembly, tune-up or packing services. 

Booking your shipment

When booking, enter the hotel’s name and address in the Ship To or Ship From field. Start typing the name of the hotel and the city, then select the correct hotel from the suggestions offered.

When prompted for more details, make sure the hotel’s name is entered in the Company Name field. Carriers require company names for delivery to a commercial address. Shipments sent without a valid company name may receive an address correction charge and may experience a delivery delay.

Entering recipient information

When shipping to a hotel

  • In the First Name field, enter: Hold for [RECIPIENT FIRST NAME]

  • In the Last Name field, enter: [RECIPIENT LAST NAME]

Example: If the package is ultimately going to Jane Smith, enter:

  • First Name: Hold for Jane

  • Last Name: Smith

When shipping from a hotel

  • Enter the recipient’s First Name and Last Name

Example: If the package is coming from Jane Smith, enter:

  • First Name: Jane

  • Last Name: Smith

Contact information

Enter your phone number, not the hotel’s. This makes it easier for hotel staff to contact you if needed before your bike ships or after it arrives.

After you book

After you’ve booked a shipment from a hotel, let hotel staff know which day pickup will occur and apply your shipping label before you leave the hotel. Some hotels may be able to help you print your label or may have a business center where you can print it yourself. See also: How do I share my labels?
