To figure out what size Bikeflights Bike Box you need, measure your bike and compare the measurements directly with our box dimensions.
Our assembled box dimensions (Length x Width x Height) are as follows:
- Bikeflights Bike Box Small (BBS): 43 x 10 x 24 inches (109 x 25 x 61 centimeters)
- Bikeflights Bike Box Medium (BBM): 45 x 12 x 30 inches (114 x 31 x 76 centimeters)
- Bikeflights Bike Box Large (BBL): 62 x 13 x 33 inches (158 x 33 x 84 centimeters)
- Bikeflights Bike Box Extra Large (BBXL): 56 x 21 x 32 inches (142 x 53 x 81 centimeters)
Helpful Hints
Common ways to make your bike “smaller” so it will fit into a box are 1) Removing one or both of your bike's wheels; 2) Lowering or removing your seat and seatpost; and 3) Removing your handlebars.
When you are measuring your bike, be sure to measure your bike as you will pack it. For example, BBLs are most commonly packed with the bike’s front wheel removed, and BBMs and BBXLs are most commonly packed with both wheels removed. You’ll almost always have to remove the handlebars of your mountain bike when you pack it any box, but you may be able to leave your handlebars on your road, gravel or ‘cross bike when you pack it in a BBXL.
