Your shipment qualifies for’s Preferred Handling upgrade if you do the following:

  1. Select and purchase Premium Protection of US$1,000 or more per box or case.

  2. Request a pickup, or choose to drop off at a UPS Customer Center (What is the difference between a UPS Customer Center and The UPS Store®?).

  3. Alert the UPS Driver or UPS Customer Center Representative that you have a high-value shipment.

  4. Hand the UPS Driver or Customer Center Representative both copies of the Preferred Handling Control Log that are included with your label bundle. They will sign one copy and return it to you. The other will travel with your package. Be sure to always request a receipt.
